FAQ
Everything about the packs, the odds, paying, and what happens after you rip.
Yes. Every pack contains one genuine card graded by PSA, CGC, or BGS, and every card is physically in hand at our facility before it ever becomes available on the site, so anything you can pull is something we're already holding. Ripprz isn't affiliated with Pokémon, Nintendo, or any card publisher; all cards are previously-manufactured product sourced on the secondary market.
Every card is independently graded and certified by PSA, CGC, or BGS before it goes into a pack. Each graded card has a unique certification number printed on the slab, and when you click into a card on Ripprz you'll find a direct link to the grading company's cert verification page, so you can confirm the card, grade, and history yourself.
Every pack draws from a fixed set of published odds. The exact percentage for every prize bracket is shown on the pack’s page before you buy, and those odds don’t change based on your purchase history or account activity.
After opening a pack, the card is yours to keep in your vault or sell back at 90% of the value it was appraised at when you pulled it, with no deadline to decide. There's no cost either way, and the choice is entirely yours.
Yes. Every card you pull is physically yours the moment you rip it, and it's shippable right away. Just request shipping from your vault whenever you want it in hand.
If you choose to sell a card back instead of keeping it, Ripprz pays 90% of the value it was appraised at when you pulled it. That price is fixed the moment it lands in your vault, so it never drifts with the market, and there's no deadline to decide. Sell it back the day you pull it or a year later, the offer is the same.
Sell-back proceeds land in your balance immediately, and you can spend them on the Site right away. Cards from packs you paid for go to your Ripprz Wallet; free cards, and cards from packs paid for with Promo Credit, go to your Ripprz Credit. Ripprz Credit is for spending here and can't be withdrawn. Your Ripprz Wallet can be spent on anything, and cashed out to a bank where withdrawals are available (the Terms have the details). If you want the value of a card as an object rather than as credit, ship the card to yourself instead of selling it back.
The three parts of your balance. Ripprz Credit is what you deposit, plus what free cards sell back for: it buys packs, shipping and Marketplace cards. Your Ripprz Wallet is what cards you paid for sell back for, plus Marketplace sales: it buys anything, and it's the only part that can ever be withdrawn. Promo Credit is bonus and referral credit: it opens packs only, and it's always spent first.
A free pack, sized by that deposit: Relics from $30, Enchanted from $100, Olympus from $250. It comes with your first single deposit of $30 or more, never expires, and one is given per person. Then deposit again within 14 days and we add 20% of that deposit as Promo Credit, up to $50; the countdown is in the top bar.
No. A buyback offer waits in your vault with no time limit. Accept it, decline it, or leave it and decide later. The one thing that closes the door is shipping the card to yourself: once it's on its way to your address, it's no longer eligible for buyback.
No. There are no storage fees, ever. Cards stay in your vault for as long as your account is open, with no time limit and no cost.
Once a card is in your vault, request shipping whenever you like. Shipping costs a flat $8.00 plus 2% of the box's declared value — what your cards were appraised at when you pulled them — which covers insurance and weight. The exact total and the estimated delivery window are shown before you confirm, and the fee comes out of your account balance. Every box is insured to its declared value and tracked, and your order page follows it from request to delivery.
We hand your box to the carrier within 2 business days of your request, and it spends 2–5 business days in transit. The ship-by date and the delivery window for your box are shown before you confirm; the tracking number is on your order page once it ships. One box holds up to 20 cards.
Yes, until the box is on its way — while it still reads Request received or Being packed in your vault. Cancelling puts your cards back in the vault and refunds the whole fee to your balance. If you pull one card out of a box that still has others in it, that card goes back to the vault and the insurance on it is refunded; the flat fee stays with the box. Once a box is marked shipped, it can't be cancelled.
Every box is insured to its declared value. When it arrives, you can confirm delivery from your order page, or we mark it delivered from the carrier's tracking. If it's lost or arrives damaged, let us know within 7 days of delivery (or of the end of the delivery window, if it never showed up) and we'll file the insurance claim and pass the recovery on to you.
No. Ripprz ships to addresses in the United States only.
Ripprz is available to US residents who are 18 or older. You'll be asked to confirm your age and location when you create an account.
Once you rip a pack, the card inside is yours. A pull can't be undone or refunded. You're never stuck with it, though: if it's not a keeper, sell it back to Ripprz whenever you like, no deadline, and otherwise it stays safe in your vault for free until you're ready to ship it home.
